If You Live in Las Vegas...
Dining: Head over to Paul Graham's wonderful website, Eating Vegan in Vegas. He's done an amazing amount of (delicious) work and research to find the best restaurants in town that offer plant-based selections.
Juicing: I stumbled in The Juice Standard (www.juicestandard.com) one morning last summer and it changed my life. Never a fan of drinking my calories, I found their juices not only refreshing but their knowledge of the product exceptional. For instance, turmeric is commonly used as a natural anti-inflammatory (much needed after a long run), but combined with 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, its absorption increases 1,000x. Now that is helpful! Plus, they patiently listened to me blather on about my running goals (I was deep into ultra training at the time). Check it out - it's worth the trip to Ft. Apache.
