First...nervous anticipation. He really does look nervous -- I think his little toddler brain was trying to take in all of the sights, sounds, smells, and movement. He even passed up the Nutri-grain bar we offered him pre-swim (and he never passes up a Nutri-grain bar.) And no, I was not worried about that old wives' tale about not swimming before you eat. The kid doesn't actually swim - he bobs in Dad's arms. Well, most of the time.

I think I handled it well.
Best of all, I came home to lunch (mmm! Cheese!) and my na-na. I love my na-na.
